American Express: Learn the Business
The Learn the Business event is a half-day, in-person, invitation-only experience designed to provide high-potential undergraduate and graduate students with an inside look at American Express through immersive learning, meaningful networking, and career exploration.
During this experience, you'll have the opportunity to:
Learn about American Express and gain insight into our business, functions, and services through an in-depth company overview.
Hear directly from American Express colleagues about their career journeys and professional experiences.
Build meaningful connections through networking with company representatives.
Explore future internship opportunities across American Express, including opportunities in Atlanta, New York, Phoenix, Sunrise (Florida), and other U.S. locations.
Food and refreshments will be provided.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree program.
Bachelor's degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required, as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these opportunities.
Important Information:
Travel will not be provided or reimbursed.
The American Express Learn the Business event will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026 .
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Selected students will receive an invitation to complete event registration beginning as early as September 4, 2026 .
Complete event details, including the venue, agenda, and registration instructions, will be provided to invited participants.
Space is limited. Applications must be submitted by Monday, August 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET for consideration.
